An experienced international leader focused on operational excellence, quality and continuous improvement, Nick Page is Argenta’s Global Head of Manufacturing. Nick's 40+ year career in pharmaceutical manufacturing across various platforms, including sterile fill-finish, biologics, and small molecules, has taken him all around the world.
Prior to joining Argenta, Nick was the Chief Operations Officer at Oxford Biomedica, a CDMO specialising in developing and manufacturing viral vector-based pharmaceutical products. In his role, he was responsible for all operational activities across four sites in Europe, was a Director of their US entity, and played a leading role in the record-time production of one of the key COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic.
Before Oxford Biomedica, Nick was a Platform Head at Novartis for their anti-infective range of products, where he managed eight sites covering API, intermediates, and finished dosage forms for end-to-end antibiotic manufacture. Earlier in his career, he worked in roles of increasing levels of responsibility with Hospira, Catalent Pharma Solutions and GE Healthcare.
Nick has a Degree in Chemistry and an MBA from the Open University and is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
